Garnet / Natural Abrasive Sand

Our conspicuous brand - Super Garnet - is a non - metallic naturally obtainable mineral abrasive mined from the beaches of the Gulf of Mannar. The grains have a unique curved cubical form as a result of hundreds of years under wave action. During mining and processing there is no grinding or breaking of particles. Hence, Super Garnet is a genuine virgin almandine garnet belonging to the gem family. Almandine garnet is the heaviest and hardest of garnets, and can withstand more cutting speed and maintain low dust levels. With its crystalline shape giving a fast cutting action and longer life span, Super Garnet is highly efficient and effective as an abrasive. It reigns foremost among all the abrasives in the world. With the purity of 99%, Super Garnet is the most accepted brand in Sand Blasting, Water Jet Cutting, Water Filtration, Surface preparation etc., To put it precisely, its high purity and low salinity provides the Super Garnet its grandeur. Our Product is of the highest quality and is compliant to ISO 11126-10 Standard and SSPC AB-1. Added to its natural value as a semi- precious stone, Super Garnet's uniqueness justifies the title "Gem of an Abrasive".

Potash Feldspar

In contrast to the sodium or calcium ions found in the plagioclase feldspar subgroup, the silicate and aluminum tetrahedra are bonded with potassium ions in potassium feldspars. The majority of deposits also contain potassium feldspar, mixed feldspars, and sodium feldspar. Chemically speaking, feldspars are aluminum silicates with additions of sodium, potassium, iron, calcium, or barium.

Silica Sand

Silica and oxygen are the two primary components of silica sand, commonly referred to as quartz sand, white sand, or industrial sand. Specifically, silicon dioxide (SiO2) makes up silica sand. Quartz, a mineral that is chemically inert and quite durable, is the most prevalent type of SiO2.

Kaolin / China Clay

Kaolin, commonly known as china clay, is a soft white clay that is used to make a variety of items, including paper, rubber, paint, and many other goods. It is a necessary component in the production of china and porcelain. Kaolin was long mined from a hill in China called Kao-ling, hence its name.

Hydrated Lime

A calcium hydroxide-based dry white powder that is produced by processing lime with water. Acid gas removal is done in coal-fired power plants, cement plants, glass factories, and incinerators using hydrated lime, a moderate alkali. Although it is still used to eliminate impurities in steel manufacture, this is the principal application for hydrated lime. Other metals are also produced using hydrated lime.
